Join us for our third annual NEPK Charity Jam!
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION! Lots of important info here.
This will be a two-day event on the latter half of Labor Day weekend 2012: Sunday, September 2nd and Monday, September 3rd. Sunday will be at UMass Amherst, and Monday at Harvard/Cambridge area. Both days we will be running from approximately 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
To make it simple for everyone, we’re just going to ask every participant for $15 to come and jam with us (CASH ONLY). You are certainly welcome to donate more than this, but $15 is our minimum donation guideline per day. However, if you come to the first day, we will ask you for only a $10 donation on the second day. Every person who shows up to the jam gets entered in to a raffle to win a parkour t-shirt of their choosing. Coming both days gets you two chances to win!
We’ll be getting together to do parkour and raise money which will fund an educational project of YOUR choosing. That’s right, you get to decide where your money goes. We’re teaming up with DonorsChoose.org to fund educational projects for classrooms in need whose values are in alignment with those of New England Parkour. In the past this has meant funding fitness, movement, and physical education projects in the New England area, and this year we will be continuing in the same vein. All donors will be asked to vote on charity projects, and the one with the most votes will be funded. If there is leftover money, the runner-up project will be funded as well, and so on until the donations are exhausted.

You will be required to sign a waiver to participate this year. You may fill one out at the event or download it ahead of time and bring the completed form with you. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver in order to join us at the event. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You may download the form here:
At UMass Amherst, we are meeting at the Fine Arts Center, University of Massachusetts Amherst, 151 Presidents Dr, Amherst, MA 01002
Parking should be free and available in the nearby lot located on North Pleasant St.
There is apparently an error on Google Maps if you go to search for the above address. It comes up with two fine arts centers. The one we will be meeting at is the one near the pond.
At Harvard, we will be meeting at the Harvard Square Station, 1400 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02138
CONTACTS DURING THE JAM
